This section includes a description of some frequently used concepts and key words relating to youth exchanges and connected activities Aims:The underlying reasons or purpose for an activity

Animation/Animateur:Animation is a process of preparation and involvement of the participants in an activity by using lively and dynamic techniques to illustrate the theme that is under exploration. An animateur is someone who facilitates this process and encourages interaction between all the group members by promoting maximum active participation

Citizenship, Active : A sense of belonging and responsability in a community and at large, involving awareness of rights and obligations

Coordinator : A person responsible for the supervision of the project from the planning stage through to the final evaluation, including the administration and implementation of the project

Cross-cultural learning : The process of cross-cultural learning is to identify and appreciate the differences between people of different cultures

Disadvantages:Describe persons in unfavourable conditions and lacking opportunities enjoyed by others for social, geographical, educational, economic or other reasons...etc
